Antique Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Ruby & Diamond Gypsy Ring – c.1895

A beautifully preserved example of Victorian craftsmanship, this antique gypsy-style ring is crafted in 18ct yellow gold and fully hallmarked to circa 1895. The domed band features a striking floral cluster of six round rubies encircling a central old-cut diamond, with two further old-cut diamonds set flush into the hand-engraved shoulders — a hallmark of the traditional gypsy setting style.

The scrollwork engraving on the shoulders adds wonderful texture and character, while the raised, domed profile gives the ring a substantial, comfortable feel on the hand. A genuine piece of Victorian history, in excellent antique condition throughout.
